Yeah, I've booked the midnight premiere. 2D. I don't like 3D at all. :x
Though strangely enough, I am not that hyped about it. I mean, I am a huge SW nerd and I was unconditionally ecstatic about the Force Awakens, though people seem to have issues with that one. Maybe some of it rubbed onto me.

Still. My second favourite period of time within the SWU (after the Old Republic) so it is going to be awesome.

EDIT: Oh, and I didn't realize that is your cosplay, there. Thought it's just an illustration photo. That's bloody epic!

So with this rogue one thing...the next one is that a continuation of this rogue one story or a different story from the series.

Rogue 1 is set after episode 3 and before episode 4, around the same time as the animated show StarWars Rebels is set. The Star Wars film next year will be episode 8 which is continued from episode 7. Theyre also planning to make a Boba Fett movie and a Han Solo movie before 2020 (I think)

That was an excellent film. As a standalone, "never seen Star Wars before film" it is particularly good. It's a war film in space.

I normally come away from a film, particularly SciFi, with a bucket load of moments that don't add up Force Awakens (although I love it) was full of terrible stuff and remember Prometheus? Utter garbage!!

Rogue One however is all good - gritty, well scripted, well casted and with a good solid plot. The special effects were a mixture of CGI and real models (I think) but even if they weren't they've obviously moved on a great deal since the disasters of the prequels.

Also some great character appearances for die-hard Star Wars fans!

I won't give any spoilers but it is a must see. It's just a bloody good film
