Who else here is currently serving or has served in the past to any capacity? Any and all Nations!

I Served 6 years active duty United States Air Force, and am now serving another 6 Air National Guard. Current rank SSgt E-5

Just want to say hi to some of my brothers and sisters in arms, always nice to talk to vets in gaming communities!

I don't really count towards this yet, but I am joining the Canadian forces very soon. I would have by now but wanted to finish my apprenticeship first.

Thats awesome! Ive met quite a few Canadians over seas, but my best experience was at an airshow in Alaska, there was alot of booze and alot of shenanigans, also alot of talking about Hockey lol. Well best of luck to you! o7

Thank you for your service! I was stationed at Dyess AFB, did 2 tours to Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Qatar, Was in Operation Enduring freedom, Inherent resolve, and freedom sentinel. o7

And thank you for your service. I got away from saying the names of the operations over the years, as it confuses Civilians. :) I loved Panama, if it wasn't for Noreaga

Trained in Royal Irish Rangers 2nd battalion before moving on to bigger and better things like cleaning up the mess others left behind and helping keep dirty little secrets a secret. Not my finest point in life...took years to come to terms with what I saw and experienced.

I dont take pride in who I was or what I did like others do...and thats all I have to say about that ^

Just giving my thanks to all you brave souls who put your lives on the line.

No service myself, but my grandfather was RN, on the HMS Zulu. Love hearing his stories.

Big supporter of the forces (could go into a while tirade about politics here and the sorry state of some of the recent U.K. political decisions around this, but won’t.)

But at the same time, isn’t there an off topic board for a topic like this?

No dont...even the whiff of anything political will get the thread locked, and as a mark of respect, that would be unfair imo.
