Hi I'm probably being really stupid but have a few Qs about building walls etc
1) I'm trying to build a wall around a coaster station. When I start placing the first piece of wall I have the option to rotate it by holding down Z or advanced options with X. What I can't figure out is when I get to the end of the station and want to build on the side, when I place the next bit of wall by duplicating I can't rotate it, its stuck in the originally placed orientation. I'm probably missing something really simple here or may be because of point 2 below...
2) I saw on one YouTube video (silverett) that you can"t build 2 angles within the same grid and therefore have to minimise the grid and create a new one with the new piece in new orientation. If this is the case, how do you minimise the original grid so its not in the way? My grid is fixed to the outer most points of the placed items.
3) if you have multiple objects that you want to be grouped as one (is that the same as grid?) how do you add items together or for example 2 adjacent buildings that you want to be grouped as one for ease or duplication of movement?
I'm not traditionally a gamer so GUI tricks/standards don't come naturally to me.
Thanks
Joe
