I would love to have the ability to edit routes and save them.
For trading purposes it would be awesome to be able to make cyclical routes and add notes along the way like "Dock at Derp Station - Buy platinum - Sell wine" or whatever. It would also be fun to be able to share our saved routes with other people.
I'm sure a route editor could have other uses as well.
