Route planning to get past Beagle Point, with jumponiun?

I’m a whole lot closer to Beagle Point than the bubble, so I wanna push myself and see how far past Beagle Point I can make it. My ship’s 70ly and I have plenty of mats for jumponium. I noticed Beagle Point isn’t quite level with Sagittarius A, on the galactic plane, and if I use Sag A as a reference point, I might be able to get farther to the edge. Any advice on route planning?

Only advice from me is to make use of the neutron fields as much as you can and you'll get most of the way there in no time. Assuming you have AFMU's of course. They're at their densest at + or - 1200 or so from the galactic plane.

You wont really have any problems route plotting within the less populated areas of stars with that 70ly range.

Just be prepared for that moment when, once you've pushed your ship as far out into the black as it can go, you still see Allitnil's name on every star you visit. :)

There are plenty of systems further out than Beagle Point, the furthest being this one: https://www.edsm.net/en/system/id/1695466/name/Oevasy+SG-Y+d0
With your jump range you'll need 1 boosted jump to reach that.

Yep, my Phantom has 65ly range and I didn't even need to use Jumponium to get to BP, Semotus Beacon is the jumping off point for SC runs out into the real black to see how far people can stretch that gap, there are a few threads here and there about doing it, but as far as jumping, that's it.

Awesome. Thanks! Any idea what the required jump range to reach the “Southernmost star” is? I got pretty close, in my 54ly explorer Python and plenty of route planning and jumponium, and eventually want to visit the southernmost star. My longest range explorer is 70ly jump range/588 total laden range. Southernmost star

My alt commander is currently on his way there, tho at the moment I have to concentrate on my main for DW2. He is in a 65ly Phantom and could reach Livingstone Point with just J1 Boosts. I expect Amundsen's not to be very different from that.

This list might be useful

That one is for the northernmost, not southernmost ;)

Maybe I’ll head to both Amundsen’s and Livingstone Point before heading home, since it would likely only take a few weeks to get there from my current location. With 70ly, would I be able to get to both systems, relatively painlessly, without any crazy route planning or detours? I got close in my 54ly Python, with 4 premium FSD injections. I’m in a squadron, and don’t want to spend days hitting dead-ends and doing crazy route planning

I had to do some jumps around 80-83ly iirc.
