Route plotting failed for everywhere!

been dipping in and out of ED since the oculus DK2 beta but only recently taking it seriously but im stuck and cant seem to go anywhere!

I upgraded a couple of components at a station (trouble is i cant remember which) and now I cant plot any route at all! Its very frustrating.

Can anyone give me a pointer how to unstick myself?

Frame Shift Drive. Never use undersized FSD. Even 4E is better than 3A.

I agree with the Crow. Fitting an undersized FSD would be like fitting a moped engine into a Ferrari. It won't get you very far very fast.

Your single jump range is only 5.8Ly. That would only barely get you to Alpha Centari. Most stars will be further apart than that.
Better FSD or lighter weight.

fantastic thanks folks. I clearly had a fundamental misunderstanding of the FSD classification system and upgrading.
