I am in the middle of a 5000Ly journey and took a break. When I relogged it said replot route so I tried to do that as the destination was still there but it started plotting and then failed at around 70%? I have tried several times but it wont plot the route. I am 3000LY in to this and need to make sure I do another 2000 in the right direction?

This usually happens when there is a blob of inaccessible systems ahead of you.
The route planner isn't very good at avoiding obstacles.
The easiest way to fix this is to plot a route a couple hundred LY "up" or "down". That should give it a fighting chance.

You can usually expedite processes like that by restarting the game.

Check your inbox for messages from the Professor and Chloe they usually show up as soon as you have gone far enough.
