It is only 6.23 Ly from Senlu to Aornum - if you cannot plot a route there then your FSD jump capability must be too low. If that is the case then let us know what ship you are in and what equipment is fitted and we can give you some tips.

As @wetwire says you can show us your ship and build by using coriolis or (if that isn't working) you can use https://edsy.org/

Bon chance.

Your jump range is too small. You have to make your ship less weight or get a better frame shift drive to jump further.

If you upgrade modules from E-grade to D-grade, they become lighter and you can jump further. I guess that you upgraded your ship, but didn't upgrade the modules. You should not buy a ship unless you have enough money to upgrade the modules.

Pretty sure all stock ships can jump further then 6.23LY. a sidewinder stock can make 7.9, and the Fed Gunship can do 6.68LY stock.
Unless he changed something from stock to reduce the jump below 6.23. say like loaded down a sidewinder with fuel tanks.
Not entirely sure his build will be the issue. but we will see.

It most likely is, usual cause is not paying attention to the size of your FSD when outfitting (in this context, it matters).

I've been playing ED since launch on the PS4, about a year ago, after playing for several hours one day; I had an similar issue. Though the distance was almost the same as OP's, I couldn't plot a route. In my A graded fully engineered Python. Gave up, went to bed, the next day when I logged on, I realize, somehow I had run low on fuel. Added fuel, issue was gone.

Does it still related to "route preparation failed"

Because your FSD jump capability is effectively under 5Ly (the "actuel" figure) you cannot jump the 6.23 Ly from Senlu to Aornum. If there is no path to Aornum utilising other stars reachable with your jump range then you get the message that route calculation has failed.

This is caused by you having a class 3 FSD in a class 4 slot. You might have replaced the 4E FSD that came with the ship, picking a FSD with a better letter (B) but the class (size) is the most important factor. That is why you should pay attention to what differences the figures show on buying (or transferring) modules.

Solution - go buy a class 4 FSD (the best you can afford) - e.g. 4C is under 180,000Cr and they are available in Senlu: https://eddb.io/station?m=973&i=1&r=16680
