Route to BP with low-range ships

Hello fellow low-range CMDRs,

I've prepared a sheet that shows the most efficient known route to BP (courtesy of CMDR Iron Orchid) and added a simple jumponium calculator that computes the fsd injections -> mats needed for each step depending on your ship's range.

Though the route is tried-and-tested and the calculation appears to be fine, it is still advised to be very careful and double check all jumps when attempting it, there are spots where you can remain stranded. At least there are no unscoopables and jumponium is available both en route and at BP (mainly basic stuff, but also mats for standard jumps).

I'll be using this. Thanks. how is the star density for the last 1 or 2 kylies?

Star density and unscoopables are really no issue, but often you can only route to 200lys only as there is a lot of zig-zagging.

The worst part was the crossing to the outer arm, it is really advised to do it more eastwards than x.Roncevau
 
That route is less efficient, you'll need more jumponium.
I made this sheet for the really low range ships, when every 0.1 ly counts!


My Python has a jump range of 26Ly and so far i have the required amount of jumponium collected and even a bit more, have to try that out to see how much less i need.

I've just left Roncevaux this morning. My jump range is 22.8ly full tank. I'm only a couple of hundred ly in so far.

I looked in Galmap and using the hat on star method I could get all the way across. What is your jump range?

I just checked and actually, in this version compared to Allitnils sheet, ill need more basic jumps but less standards.

With 26Ly jump range:

Allitnils route: 16 basic and 6 standard jumps
Optimal_909 route: 18 basic and 4 standard jumps

And thats with return also. One way is just half of those values.
