I've noticed a lot of references to routing your trip through scoopable systems. I have not been able to find that filter in the navigation panel. Am I missing something?

In the Galaxy map, there are four tabs, Info, Navigation, View, and options.
Click over to the Navigation tab and about halfway down is a section marked Jump Data. Under that are the checkboxes for Economical and Fastest routs. Check the one you want and then plot your rout from the map.

I think they mean that you can choose to only show the scoopeple stars so you at any point can check the map for a direction to a star to refuel at before heading on with you original trip....

Click the View tab (3rd along).
Click the Map button (as opposed to Realistic).
Choose Star Class from the dropdown.
Untick the star classes until only O,B,A,F,G,K and M are ticked.
What you see on the map are the stars that you can scoop from.
You can use the same method to filter only the neutron stars and black holes by choosing "Non main-sequence".

Which tab on the navigation screen is that? I do not see it when I look for it.
I don't find Star Class on the drop down. Only by population. Should I download the STEAM version? I have the game from the Frontier website.
The selection box where it says population can be clicked and you can choose other selection criteria.
