Run the mirrored view in fullscreen or borderless on startup

So, i been finding since i have come back to the game that ED wont run in fullscreen or borderless windowed mode on startup unless i manually select it each time i start the game.
I found this thread and thought, this topic needs to be revisited incase devs have forgotten about it.

Unless there is a way to get the game to stay in whatever settings i choose, that i am unaware of, then please let me know. As this is getting annoying that i have to keep changing back to fullscreen/borderless, every single time i launch the game. It just wont remember the settings for me.
This is for the Rift, FYI.

That could explain a lot.
Only reason why its annoying, is because if you forget to make it fullscreen or borderless, for me, if i press the fire trigger to fire weapons on my warthog, it exits to desktop and im left wondering why the game is no longer responding to commands til i remember why its not responding :)
The warthog just uses keyboard strokes for its binds. Not that i think it matters in this case since we are talking about the game resetting the view to 1280x768 every time you exit the game.
I dont think our ship insurance is covering for "forgetting to set game window to fullscreen/borderless", somehow :ROFLMAO:

One thing I do is make sure that I click into the window so that it grabs the cursor before trying to play. I've never had a problem with losing focus after I've done that.

Yeah tried that. It dont work for me for some reason. If its in one of those, it doesnt lose focus. But if its in windowed, it does.Doesnt matter what size window either it seems. Thats why i gotta make sure it stays in fullscreen or borderless. Otherwise, i wouldnt have even bothered posting this thread :)

This happens to me all the time when I'm in VR. My suggestion is to use EDRunner to move the focus back to the window when you move your joystick.

naa, i'll pass on downloading another app. I think i have enough apps running when playing ED now lol. I just gotta remember to resize window before and after each game session. Thanks for the tip though :)
