Running from Oculus home, E:D Launcher just crashes.

I've tried completely reinstalling through Home with no luck same issue :( I haven't played in ages, so I can't say when it was last working. Actually last time I did play it was before Oculus Home on the DK2 so I would have been running the stand alone version at that time.

Anyone else run into this or have any suggestions?
 
I had issues with some program hooks into d3d like afterburner with rivatuner for stats onscreen display. fraps etc
try to stop them before running edlauncher and see if it works.

Thank you! That is exactly what it was. Afterburner in my case.

That fixes it but is also very disappointing since Afterburner is what controls my overclock :(
 
Glad you found it.
Try upgrading to the latest one + latest Rivatuner from guru3d.com or so.

You can try to open Rivatuner settings when its running from Afterburner and adding your EDLaunch.exe as an new application profile. Then turn "application detection level" to "None" to turn the rivatuner off.
That way you can keep AB running with FPS/Framerate stats graphs(which keeps rivatuner running)
