Does anybody know any tips or themselves successfully run in portrait mode (the monitor spins sideways and then in windows display settings you change that monitor to portrait layout).
I tried it in different resolutions from the native resolutions (on a WQHD 1440x2560 sideways) down to full screen and window in lower resolutions down to something like 900 pixels on the short side.
There were odd issues with where the mouse tracked in the config options.
And it looked super weird, perhaps it is beyond any sensible field of view settings. Or I might need to sit closer and get the right perspective. It sort of feels like tripping on onionhead in the game but in real life, is about how super weird it looks.
Anyway the portrait layout has a lot going for me in terms of day to day use and I'd be happy to run it in a windowed mode or full screen, anything that's practical.
It doesn't offer horizontal landscape ratio resolutions in the game, because if it would just be usable and look right. I'd be happy to run it at like SVGA 1280x1024 in a window, or have the game be a stripe between black bars, or anything, if it'd just be usable.
Thus I opined and mused, and see if somebody knows. Thanks,
And I'm thinking of sidestepping the issue by mounting a monitor arm to make changing easier, but, for now.. I seek knowledge
