General Gameplay Running into dinosaurs is mostly NOT lethal!

So, I believe you already know what I am talking about.

During breakouts of dinosaurs, guests quickly tend to form crowds. Whenever dinosaurs barge through those, they literally slam any human they touch aside which always results in the death of latter. When we're talking about dinosaurs of the size of a T. rex, a Triceratops or even a Brachiosaurus, I'm perfectly fine with that.

However, the same does also happen when dinosaurs of the size of a Gallimimus, Strutiomimus or even the new Homalocephale (which is so small it's cute) happen, guests fly over half the island. I guess I don't have to point out how illogical that is.
Solution: Frontier should distinguish whether a large dinosaur (kill), a medium-sized dinosaur (kill with the slight chance of visitors getting back up) or a small dinosaur (visitors standing up again) slams into visitors.

Then another thing. Please watch this video here:

Start at 9:00 and wait for 9:04. For those who can't watch it; an Indoraptor stands inside a crowd of humans and at least a dozen visitors run into its tail which results in their death. The Indoraptor isn't even moving, the visitors just run into him by themselves. And there's no way that is lethal. I believe they should stop within a reasonable distance or turn around and run into another direction as panicking humans tend to bring as much distance as possible between themselves and a danger instead of running towards it.

The current system is working as well, of course, but it makes breakouts and mass-panics almost funny and enjoyable to watch because such illogical things tend to happen.

Part of me is conflicted by this. On one hand I understand how guests should do their best to go around the dinosaurs when running away if they are in an open environment instead of running towards them. It will add to some realism.

On the other, I really do enjoy the slapstick humor of an entire group running towards and slamming themselves into a dinosaur.

I think it’s best to have the guest try to run away and around the dinosaur in the best way they can. It will be interesting, like if the indominous rex is blocking the path to the emergency shelter, that the guests would run away from the dinosaur until they have an unbloked path again.

I like this 👍

Thanks man! Yeah, you got it. :) I guess it's also clear I'm a person who sticks to realism. ;) And I mean, imagine if one of your carnivores breaks out. You have to pay for each guest that gets killed. It's a HUGE difference whether the escaped dino tramples two humans and eats one (three casualties) or over twenty guests get themselves "killed" because they run into the still-standing dinosaur due to their stupid AI. Especially in challenge mode that really can make a difference.

suddenly getting flashbacks of JPOG and hearing the death bell sound playing repeatedly in the carnage during a twister, which were usually followed by disappointed Peter Ludlow messages

Actually, I was doing a test to see everything that might happen during dino Breakouts. Turns out, those "Deaths" aren't counted as Deaths if you check the number of Humans a Dino has killed. So the Guests running into Guests is morw of an injury than a Death.
I actually knew this already for a while as well, because I’ve seen that before last year.
