Running slow

I am running Planet Zoo Beta on my laptop. It is now running so slowly that I don't want to play it. I am sure it's not my laptop as it was ok the first couple of times I played. Any one have any ideas?

Your laptop is plugged into a wall socket while playing? If not, you might wanna try that. Most laptops switch to an energy saving mode automatically when running on battery.

Thank you for your reply. My battery is quite old and doesn't last too long so my laptop is often attached to the mains. But not sure if it was when game was running slow so will take note. I've played for a while this afternoon. Plugged into mains and yes, so far it's running ok
