Running the Arm MacScruffy's quest for new worlds.

SKS StarDust has left the confines of civilized space and is currently running the arms of the Galaxy in search of new worlds for future colonization. So far I am 4kly from Sol and heading further out everyday.

I do stream alot of this and the channel is a work in progress. http://www.twitch.tv/zanemacro Please note that it is adult content..... Especially when alcohol and friends are involved.

I will post screen shots and upload some video's as time permits.

Next 3 days will be light days of no exploration, taking father out of town for surgery and working.

Meanwhile blue stars give some odd planets.
Currently 9kylie from sol and running further out in the arm. One close call with a neutron, everything is still 100%, alos had a close call on fuel last night where I was searching for a scoop-able star and jumped into the system and heard Main fuel tank depleted, as the fuel scoop started gathering.

As i journey further and further along the arm, I find myself longing to run towards the core. I will not at this juncture as my mission is to continue along the current arm for as long as possible. I'm sending these images of the current finds and wish for home with each passing week.

Current tally.
15 earthlike
126 water worlds
6 amonia worlds
2 neutron stars.... found the hard way

Wish I had kept a spread sheet for the rest.

Found 14 of the earth likes in one night along with 96 of the water worlds. Been pretty much ringed gas giants since.

My route has turned in towards the core, I've fought off the urge to return home early with the waxing and waning of the galactic powers. Sks Stardust has crossed between the arms successfully navigating a sparse region of Brown Dwarf star systems. I have sent more photo's of my finds.

Have now entered the core's outer edge. Slowly due to plotting and jump crashes. Canopy is no cracked thanks to a blackhole jump crash combo. Still running my course.

Made it to Sagittarius A The view is well breathtaking. After routing along the Perseus Arm to Hyponia then turning in through the Sagittarius arm I hit the core somewhere around 60kly covered at this time now heading towards civilized space. Next Destination Lembava.

Congratulations!
Sag A* is quite an achivement, but don't stop there!

Also little tip ; Turn off both fastest route and economical route, will speed up the galaxy map alot. (and it will still plot fastest routes)
