S 171 stars NGC 7822

Do the S 171 stars not appear on the galactic map if you are at human systems, or if you are not nearer (within ~2k LY) them?

Due to how the galaxy map works there will be some pop-in depending on location and zoom level. You should still always find it when searching.

Ok, I'm just wondering if there were 'hidden' systems that appear on the map once you are nearer, and I seem to recall the S 171 kind of gave me a surprise, but I guess I didn't look closely at the nebula before going down.

Been there, done that and they are all there, try no space between the "S" and the "171" eg "S171 9"
