S&S Sky Swat (Slammer)

Seeing as Thorpe Park are removing the awesome Slammer, would we be able to get the ride in Planet Coaster?!

It was my favourite flat ride of all time and it would be great to be able to add it in to my parks!

It was the only one of its kind ever build, so it was not really a successful ride. I agree that it was quite impressive looking.
I think that we already have a lot of very large flatrides in the game. I would be thankful for a bunch of rides that would fit in smaller areas of the park.
But we can never have enough flats, coasters and scenery...so bring it on![praise]

Not the only one, there was another at Six Flags (only the one other). However, it didn't last as long as Slammer! You can find some info on it via Google. Catapult was its name.

Though with all of Slammers down time and the amount of time it took to load and unload, they probably lasted as long as each other [haha]

However, yeah, I would also like to see it in PC! It's an odd looking thing but very cool looking, even if not that popular with the crowds.

Oh, you´re right of course! I had totally forgotten about the one in SF New England. But whenever I was at this park I marathoned on Superman (or whatever it is called now) and forgot about almost everything else.

I rode the New England one when it was still in Houston at Astroworld as SWAT. Rode it during the last month the park was open before they demolished the whole park. As for the ride, it was the most painful experience I've ever had on a ride. Those restraints were utterly brutal and left bruises on my stomach. I remember yelling for ride ops to adjust my restraint because it was squishing my skin in between the bar and the seat. Not fun at all. But... That said... It was definitely an awesome looking ride and I'm glad Six Flags was able to relocate some of Astroworld's rides when they closed the park
