Just finished up a support ticket with Frontier. They were very nice, and helpful, but they were not able to assist me with my basic issue:

I had not enabled "VerboseLogging=1" in the XML file when I started playing in December 2014.

It was not until March 2015 that I discovered the wonderful third party tools available for Elite. My hand records were inadequate, up until then, as I had used the Ben Ryder approved method of writing my data on napkins.

Frontier does *not* release log or transaction data. They were very polite about it. Ah, well.

So, my exploring life is a blank between 16 DEC 2014 and 3 MAR 2015. Rats.

Maybe we could buy it in the Frontier store? :)

I suspect that they are not being unreasonable. I suspect they simply do not collect the data if you do not set the log level to do so. So they probably cannot release it.

Or they do but on a system level, not a per commander level, so pulling one persons data out would necessitate writing some new tool to run over the logged data and extract the bits relevant to a named account, which even then might not be in any format useful to an individual commander who doesn't have access to FDev's look up tables to identify what event 47392 might be or which system b1b09f18-7eca-4366-8746-b4715e3adfb6 refers to...

It would be nice to have a "First Discovered" feature in game. They have a record of the number of jumps, total distance, etc.
