Hey guys, a while since I posted here, got
PB 2 weeks ago and loving it! I'm so impressed with the game and getting giddy waiting for the next release! There's one tiny (petty) thing that gets to me every time:
I was wondering if the current iteration of 'safe disengage' at <1000km out of super cruise is a placeholder? I always feel slightly cheap using it, especially after expertly (!) navigating in and out of stations, across solar systems etc.. It's also a bit bizarre that your orientation suddenly changes, a planet suddenly pops up in view when it was 180degrees to you a split second ago.
I understand you can drop super cruise manually without targeting your destination but it can be erratic. Do you think they will introduce a gradual animated deceleration to the destination, albeit possibly automated?
