Sag A, over a year and 1,545,789,779 credits

I Left with the Distant Worlds 2 in January of 2019 and quickly discovered that a group expedition wasn't for me (I still don't see the point). After a couple of days, I steered toward Dryman's point and wandered around there for about a month.

I then got it in my head that I should go to Sag A. Today I stopped at Explorers Anchorage and discovered that I had 1,545,789,779 credits of data. I am now slowly on my way toward Colonia. Of course, I am not taking the most direct route. One thing I am surprised by is how quickly one can get onto undiscovered systems. Other than Sag A and Explorers Anchorage, I have hit one previously discovered system in over a year.

It is just a bit of personal achievement.

Once you get out of the well traveled spots you will never see a discovered by tag. the only time that I really see them is when I cross between spiral arms and that is understandable when you get out near the end of the arms, there are only so many stars you can reach in places like Hawking gap.. Once in a while I will see them in places like the far rim as well if I am in the middle range of the galactic disk if I head towards the upper or lower layers I see no tags at all. The other place that you will run into a lot of discovered by tags is of course neutrons, and the layer of black holes at the upper and lower boundaries of the galactic disc. other than that the galaxy is pretty much wide open to new discovery.

You sir have my utmost respect for the length of your trip o7. Well done, a year is a long time I know the feeling well. I have only completed one exploration trip my self and am currently on my second. the first trip lasted for 4 years and my current one has been going for several months. the feeling when you get back to the bubble is going to be awesome.

My exploration trip is now complete. Last night I flew into my "Home" starport and old off my exploration data from when I left Colonia to present. It was about 1.2 billion worth of data. As I am sure anyone can guess, I did not take a direct route.

My Imperial Cutter is now parked and I am now back to "Space Trucking" in my beloved Type 9.

So, at least for me, Distant Worlds 2 is now complete.

The outside loop is the one for this voyage:

Yes, there were several ELWs' located, but the "List of Earth-Like Worlds" system is just too complicated to use.
