General / Off-Topic Saitama or Goku?

Hey folks, been busy for awhile, but been thinking about this one. I've been into Dragon Ball since I was a kid and I recently delved into One Punch Man, so I'm wondering; Goku or Saitama? Thoughts?

Goku. But I'm biased. Watched DBZ daily as a kid.

I did too, and I've started collecting the manga as well. (Just finishing up Z and about to start Super.) But Saitama....just so much to him that we don't know. Goku has gone through so many transformations, but Saitama has yet to need more than one punch.*

That scene would take 6 months in the anime and 4 volumes of manga.

I could never get into DBZ. Even for a cartoon that doesn't take itself too seriously it was still too goofy. And fights lasting 20 episodes for no reason didn't appeal to me

In Dragon Balls defense, Goku has been around long enough to see strong opponents that require him to get stronger. The most I've Saitama have to do so far is 1 serious punch.

It is true, Saitama is much more of a get to the point sort of dude, while Goku....well, let's just sass at he likes to lament...

Pfft, not even a question. Goku wouldn’t even be able to handle the sheer intensity of Saitama’s punishing training regime, let alone take him in a fight.
