Hardware & Technical Saitek Combat Rudders are not detected in ED

Hi,

first, I searched this Forum and a lot of people seem(ed) to have this problem that the rudder pedals are not detected, but it also seems that some update end of Nov 2014 fixed it.
However, I still have this problem, I own an X55 and the Saitek Combat Pedals (those are new). Those work fine for DCS and in Windows, but in Elite they are just not recognized. I also have read that it seems that Elite might have a Problem with detecting more than 2 controllers (so Joystick + Throttle), but this was the fixed in Nov as I understand it so now it should detect more controllers. I also tried to pull out my throttle, but the pedals are still not detected at all. Its like they are not there. Are there any hints what else I could try?

Thank you very much!

I figured it out what was wrong. Posting this, maybe someone will have the same problem and find this thread in the future. It seems that the pedals had some "issues" when plugged into a USB 3.0 HUB (dont know if 2.0 HUB would be working). Plugged it directly into the mainboard USB connectors and everything seems to work fine so far. However, even in the USB 3.0 Hub the pedals worked fine for DCS and in windows so I think it might be a bit weird behavior from ED.

Hey!
I have the same problem with the Saitek StandardRudderPedals....working fine in DCS and Windows7 (rudder&brakes), but not available in ED!
Changed the SaitekSettings to button-function, but this way only having FULL right/left...
Not much of a problem though, 'cause the Sidewinder doesn't react too nervous on rudder inputs! ;)

Mine work just fine in combination with the Warthog, I have not installed any Saitek software, however. Yaw on the main axis, thrusters up/down on the brakes. What exactly do you mean with "not available"? Not available from the pull-down menu? If so, mine are neither, but I could set them up with no problem.
