Hardware & Technical Saitek Pro Flight System

This game keeps getting better and better as I discover new tings, first I tried to control my ship with mouse and keyboard, then I tried my Thrustmaster Controller, finally because I have a large elaborate setup for Flight Simming I decided to see if my Saitek yoke, rudder pedal and extra throttle quadrant would work -Success! Now I have a lot of options for switches and levers to decide on for my best combo!

A yoke to control a space combat sim? Amazing!

What do you use for throttle control though? Doesn't this game mean you need to adjust throttle more often and in finer increments than flying a civvie aircraft in a flight sim?

On the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke it comes with a throttle quadrant and 9 switches if you count the 3 used in conjunction with the three throttle levers. I have it set up for controlling lateral and vertical thrusters my two Right switches on the yoke, the throttle is my first Power Lever and I have it set for both FWD and REV. I set the null to about half that allows me a safe range to be throttle off. I have tried all three control and this for is the best especially docking. Dog Fighting is no issue and with the switches I am given with the extra throttle quadrant x2, I have a large setup.

I am still improving my setup, but cudo's to the developers for making this a user friendly setup!
