My new version 2.0 Elite setup for the Saitek X52 has now been released. This is big news for the X52 player community. This is a service I provide for FREE to the ED community. It's my way to give back. This is THE way to play Elite Dangerous and is the pinnacle of joystick setups at this time. I just want everyone to have the best experience possible with the hardware they already have(Saitek X52/Pro).
What is it? A complete HOTAS setup that removes the need for a keyboard as every function in the game, bar none, is programmed directly into controllers. This is especially great for VR where they can't look down to the keyboard. Everything can be controlled by touch. This is also useful for everyone else as well... as looking down in combat, even for a second, can get you killed.
FYI... 2.0 new features.
The new version is 100% compatible with HCS Voice Packs.
Features 9 axis of controls including lateral and vertical thrusters with dynamic controls.
Introduces Push to talk and Microphone Mute capabilities.
Includes all of the commands for fighters now.
Includes all of the latest added commands in 2.2 like "Charge ECM".
As always... it works with VR, TrackIR, and incorporates a built in head look with the X52's built in mouse controls. That's great for players who don't have VR or TrackIR.

I own the X52 Pro. I was working with a reddit user before to get the 1.0 version working for the Standard X52(non-pro). I haven't been able to get in touch with him. I'm looking to get someone with the standard stick to get in touch with me so we can get 2.0 up and running for them as well. It would probably require about 30ish minutes of their time... maybe an hour max.
