Saitek X52

Can somebody please tell me how to setup my Saitek X52 please for Elite Dangerous.

I have had the program from day one, but never really got into it because I couldn't set up my Saitek.

Been on youtube and all they show is the PRO version which doesn't help me.

Does anybody have a word for word explanation for setting up all my buttons and levers please as I haven't got a clue on my own.

I even tried looking for a PROFILE but no luck.

With my 'pro I found I could pretty much plug it in then go to configuration in Elite and assign the buttons to whatever I wanted - Elite is 'X52 aware' so even shows pretty icons of the various controls you use...

Yes, you can set up profiles - different ones for flying, fighting, landing or whatever - but to start of just plug it in and start flying!
