Saitek X52

I've been unable to play for about a year too past heavy work commitments....so i tried earlier to play which is all good went thru steam and into old profile...with my ELITE Rank & Blake7 Anaconda however, for some reason my Saitek X52 Thruster Unit works fine but the joystick seems to have no response so the ship stays on a permanant roll to the left only as soon as i plug the Saitek X52 unit into the computer....yet it worked fine last time i played??

If someone has a solution it would be good to know as im desperately wanting to get back into the game and discover more planets and Thargoids

I'd try the usual:-

1. Make sure that when you started ED there were no inputs - I store my stick next to the screen and keep it plugged in, so sometimes if I start ED and the stick is being pushed slightly to the left/right then that will translate to motion when the stick is in a neutral position back on my desk. Make sure it's all connected up securely too.

2. Check you have the latest x52 drivers from saitek/logitech. There'll be a programme on there you can get up and check that there's no input on one of the sensors causing the roll.
