So I just bought a Saitek X55 HOTAS and I am having issues getting it working. I am running an ASUS PB Z77-V LX Motherboard that has two USB 3.0 ports. I installed the drivers and the throttle is working perfectly. I double checked this by going into the Mad Catz calibration software and tried clicking all the buttons on the throttle. The stick itself is a whole different ball game. The only thing that the Mad Catz software is reading is the yaw control (when I twist the clockwise and counter clockwise). No other buttons or movements are being read by my system. I went the ASUS and downloaded and installed the lasted USB chipset drivers for my motherboard and that didn't help either.
I've read about issues with the X55 having to be ran through USB 3.0 because it may not pull enough power else where. Interestingly, I had the same problem with the flight stick when I had it plugged into a USB 2.0 port. Has anyone else dealt with this issue or know of a way to get my stick working? I really want to get involved in Elite
angerous so this is beyond frustrating.
Thanks for your help in advance!
