Hardware & Technical Saitek X56 problem (clicks with every movement)

So I have 2 brand new X56's here with me, and they both do exactly the same thing out of the box, basically the sticks clicks with every movement.

here is a video link of what I mean, you will need sound on.

What I'm wondering is since Logitech support is taking so long to offer me a replacement, is there any way I can fix this myself at home, does anyone know exactly what is causing it?

Thanks for any help.

The easiest DIY solution, I'm afraid, is to go and buy yourself a Thrustmaster HOTAS. (sorry)

It sounds like some tooth (bad casting) or faulty bearing. (If it comes from the inside of the mechanism) You could try to open it and grease it richly, but I think it would be easier to just throw it back at them.
It could also be caused by the ring that holds the spring. Maybe try and change the spring. Maybe everything will settle better.

The X-55 is power hungry and suffered phantom clicks if the USB couldn't deliver enough power. It might be the same with the X-56.
