Salvage convoys?

What does this mean exactly? And how do you get into LFT 509 or Witch's Reach if they have no population or stations to do missions for?

In the patch notes. No one knows, especially since no one has yet found a way to enter Isinor.

I expect these will just be carbon copies of the wedding and funeral barges, just with a different name and the main ship carrying some salvage.

But what to do with the salvage Ringo123....? Is is just cargo to be sold or it is of any use to your/my ships inventory....meaning can we use it....or just sell it....?

my guess is that they will just hold random mineral A or B, or metals etc, to sell, probably only on the black market, since they'll be classed as stolen.

Thanks for your skilled guess Ringo, me not being the ambush and steal type here in elite has not covered that subject yet.........Do I stand there by a tunnel in space and wait in the dark, until a old pensioner ship comes along, then I rob it of it's pension yea....something like that....?

I got my Isinor permit yesterday. Exploring Isinor, I've found that the system has a nav beacon, 1 convoy beacon by the first planet Maodun, two RES' around Isinor 3 and 3 belt clusters. The part you guys probably want to know about is the convoy beacon. I've checked it out several times in my testing, and about half the time it contains 3 ships. 2 Anacondas, and a type 9 carrying the new salvage. I've seen it in amounts of 1 to 7, though I imagine it could go higher. I've yet to find a weak signal source anywhere in the sector though I've seen plenty of strong and normal strength ones.

So.. it's basically another form of rares that's carried by a convoy that you have to shoot up/pirate?
