With the new limpet controllers I have the recovery controller for my role as a bounty hunter. It occurs to me to throw them to the pirates to recover the goods they had, but, it turns out, they are stolen goods, logically... but I cannot return those goods to their owners. Nor free the slaves. There are no such options. You can only sell them on the black market, or give slaves the "liberation" that death gives.
My suggestion is that these goods can be delivered so that they can be returned to their owners for a percentage of the value for the ransom of them, and in the free worlds (Alliance and Federation), to be able to free the slaves. This could be done in the same rescue menu that exists now.
