Same sun on planets ( same positon always )

I'm just wondering about one thing , in all the planetary content i had seen , the sun is always at the same position on the horizon.
These planets don't turn or what ?
How is the sky on these atmo planets when the sun is at the zenith ( perpendicular to the ground ) ?
Do we still see the stars or not ( stars should NOT be visible at zenith position of the sun ) ?

Many celestial bodies (also in real life) are tidally locked to the object that they orbit. The Moon is an example of such a body - it always turns the same side towards the Earth. If you were standing on the Moon, the position of the Earth in the sky would not change (more than a little due to wobbling effects).

Depends if it has atmosphere and how thick it is and whether or not you are looking directly at the star. A planet with no atmosphere the stars will be visible all the time you are not looking at the star, a planet with thin atmosphere, like the ones we can land on, will obscure many of the dimmer stars due to scattering of sunlight in the atmosphere (an effect called Raleigh Scattering), a planet with thick atmosphere like the earths will obscure nearly all stars, but of course exceptions can occur due to how close they are and how bright they are.

Yeh nah, at zenith with 0.01 Atms the stars shine thru, I'm looking for thicker atmospheres, just found a 0.02, still really thin compared to Earth ;-)

Never mentionned for odyssey but always mentionned in the Kickstarter campaign by D.B himself, and also "made for VR " with the offline mode .
This is just a lie and a betrayal for us , veterans that have played Elite since the last 30 years.
But i suppose , you are the kind of "peep" that just don't understand what the Elite franchise is about, you the "AAA fps peep" ^^, as i see you are laughing like a fool.
PS: i port to your attention that in FE2 and FFE, there ARE real atmospheric planets with TOWNS and such, and there are gas giants where we can fly into etc...
All of this at the service of the GAMEPLAY, not just for cosmetics, and the grind was not repetitive, like there was also real missions that emphasize exploration.
ED was amputed by half of that content, that made the franchise so interesting, so you can laugh if you want , but the reality is here.
