San Diego Chaos Theory Park goes bankrupt after a certain point

I have run the San Diego scenario 5 times so far. At a certain point, right around the 3.25 stars, I stop making money. My money dries up no matter what I do. I close shops not doing well. I replace small shops with Medium ones to increase money flow. I make new dinos and expand my park. I make lots of dinos. I recover from storms well. Nothing seems to work.
Is there a time limit, where if you don't reach a certain star level in a certain time, people stop coming? That's all I can think of.

I don't understand this. I see so many people saying they go bankrupt on several different maps. I've lost count as to how many times I've gone in the red when things like storms happen. But in my case at least it's always possible to recover. Sure, sometimes it's a bit hard to get out of a money hole and it takes some time to recover. But not once have I had to restart a map.

Are you doing everything needed to save money when you're in the red? Making sure there are no escaped animals. Making sure there is at least something that creates income. Firing scientists. Selling non-essential buildings and decorations. Making photos of animals to gain some extra instant cash (use the helicopter for much faster travel and photo taking).

I do all of those things, and more. It also happens whether or not there's a storm. The money just dries up, no matter how much I have on hand.

Do you place more/wider paths and hotels? When you expand you need to make more room for guests or you're guest cap will stay far below the possible guest potential.

I never had any trouble completing any of the maps following the usual rules. No shops where the management view tells you to add them, always put them down in hubs with hotels, viewing attractions, shelters and restrooms instead. Then configure them for max profit, done. Only hire as many scientists as you need (preferable are ones that are specialized and lower costs for incubation, expeditions, research etc.) and add upgrades for fossil extraction slots and dig yield, so you save money for extractions in the long run and get more fossils at once. Also make sure to take some pics of your dinos now and then to get a little extra income.

When your money starts to dry up, is there anything in your management screen telling you what could be the cause? Is an Amenity spending more than it's earning? Have you reached your maximum guest capacity? Maybe you need to expand your paths and add in more hotels, so there can be more quests coming in?
