Anyone else ever run into a system that has an empty bulletin board? (and yes I've relogged quite a few times, left the system, went in and out of sc and hyper drive).

it does have a bad bleeding effect sometimes, but mostly I like it. Might switch to a blue hud soon im not sure. But does anyone know if this happens or if its a bug? If so I'll put it in the bug report sub forum

Perhaps they just don't like you enough to even bother trying to hire you out for any missions?

Happens fairly regularly. I'd put in a ticket, if I recall, one of the Devs mentioned something (quite a while back) along the lines of they're not supposed to be completely empty.

I've seen it on multiple occasions, but normally going back into the screen fixes it. When it doesn't I just assumed there actually was nothing on offer (for whatever reason the background sim sees fit).

Not sure if its a bug or by design.

Yea since multiple restarts and relogs haven't made a change, I'm assuming then its bugged, I'll make the proper post in bug report in a bit. And I'm a Chief Petty Officer with the Federation (allied) whom owns the station (and system) so I kinda doubt its their dislike of me.

Yes, some small places have empty boards. I don't know why. But the star next door will have missions.

Actually, when I saw the OP's green HUD, I immediately thought "Lemon and Lime". Then Loskene labelled it 'nuclear puke' and now my poor brain is fried.

Maybe I should just finish my tea and do some work... (like hell)

LOL. I can't help it sometimes. I see an opening, and my smartass streak goes into overdrive, then people are requisitioning new monitors from the IT department.

Oh, you have the A5 smartasser? They tend to go into overdrive when they get hot. I finally gave up on mine and got a docking computer, instead.

It's nuclear puke in the station menus.
But if it's like mine is a lovely yellow in the cockpit.
It's the only colour scheme I managed to create where you don't need to be on LSD to read the scanner

Sorry but who would give up a class 5 slot for a docking computer?!

On topic, yeah i've had an empty board 2 or 3 times myself. Sometimes it did fix itself when simply switching menues (opening shipyard or whatever), sometimes it didn't.

I'm actually having this issue right now with a large station. I'm in the midst of trying to rank up with the empire, and my home station offers me nothing. I tried relogging a few times, but I still get an empty board.

I have seen empty boards in major systems with large populations. It happens sometimes. Give it a few hours and you'll start to see missions again.

I've been to several systems that had no missions...TBH It didn't occur to me at the time that it might be a bug

I ticketed the same issue in one of the internal spations (that's "space stations" for the uninitiated) in the Balis system. The dev checked there and replied that his was looking fine. Ticket closed.
