: I chose to make a zoo in NA, but when I made a habitat for an African animal like camel, they wouldn't accept NA trees, why is it like this?
If this is what you mean, it's just the way system of the game works, animals want trees and foliage from its natural habitat.
For dromedary camel, for example, would want 'African' 'Desert' trees.
If you want to decorate the habitat as you want, I recommend you to go to the sandbox settings and turn off animal welfare.

I’d mostly just ignore it… foliage has very little effect on welfare.

They don’t like plants that aren’t native to the same region (continent) and biome that they’re from.

If you mean that the menu shows no trees to place, it's because you have only active the "Africa" and "Aquatic" filters. The aquatic category has very few trees. You should activate the grassland filter too to get more tree variety.
If you mean that the animal doesn't like the plant you have placed in the habitat, I don't see that there is a problem. The plant is not marked in red in the screenshot, so it is fine.
From this im guessing you mean the red x, that's just so you can remove the tree easier. This is is accepted by the elephant. Off the top of my head the box would be red if not acceptedHi, tks for aswer. And sorry the english i'm studiyng
