Sanna - who's here?

After spending the last couple of weeks doing uninteresting stuff, trading mostly, in the area around LHS3447, I've finally gotten my ship to the configuration I wanted it to be to spread my wings and leave my home neighbourhood. This involved upgrading everything apart from the fuel tank with an emphasis on lightness, fast power recharge and versatility. After upgrading my power distributor in GD219 to one I'd been eyeing up for a while, I knew the time had come. I just had to sell my Freagle, which I never used, and I'd be on my way.

I'd read about goings on in Sanna in the news and so decided to head down there to see what was going on. It was a fairly epic, by my standards, 115Ly voyage, up till now I'd been no further than 15Ly from LHS3447 (though spent more time in Eravate really). I'd practiced bounty hunting in GD219 and felt ready to face the universe. Along the way I made a few stops to sell and buy commodities (I'd looked ahead at what kinds of economies were along the way), made some extra cash bounty hunting, saw a close binary pair, somehow managed to pick up a 150cr bounty of my own, entered the Empire for the first time, and visited a prison colony with a station orbiting an earth like planet around a brown dwarf which for some reason had a tourist economy. Perhaps some Imperial bureaucrat has a sense of humour and was describing the residents of the system as tourists on mandatory holidays.

I arrived in Sanna a few hours ago and then docked at Skyways High and logged off for the night, awaiting what might be going on tomorrow. There were certainly a lot of large ships in the vicinity of the station when I arrived, a convoy of Anacondas (Anacondae?). The traffic report showed about 250, so fairly quiet I think by most standards but I expect more people will be heading there. Not only is there a civil war brewing, but we're right on the border, surrounded by Imperial systems and closer to Achenar than Sol. Senator Torval's homeworld is just around the corner while the famed anarchy system, Reddot is also nearby.

So is anyone else in Sanna, or planning to come here... And what do you plan to do? Take sides or just capitalise on the chaos?

I got here today. I've been doing some missions and bounty hunting racking up funds. There isn't much in Sanna in the way of outfitting. So anyone coming should do that before they come or check surrounding systems.

Edit: There is a system about five light years from Sanna useful for bounty hunting has resource extraction sites CD-52 187 it is imperial controlled.

I passed through a nice high-tech system shortly before arriving. Can't remember its name though, it was one of those numerical ones. I did write it in my logbook though.

I turned up, took a few missions then left. I guess we'll have more to go on when the federal capital ship arrives

I've just arrived in system, and it seems very quiet for now. The faction that is seeking departure from the Federation is called the Official Sanna League, and has only 1% influence in the system. Can't find any missions for them on the BB's, and have visited 3 of the 4 stations in Sanna.

Guess it's time to hit the local nightspot and see if anyone's talking about anything. I'm thirsty, and it's been a long flight to get to this region on the trail of the mythical Combat Stabilisers. I've also heard that the Sanna LaSannagne is worth a go, but the garlic bread is atrocious.

I wouldnt expect youre missins etc to have any influence to any large degree, the background simulation is broken until the devs enable the 90% of things in there that do work that havent been turned on yet. Once that happens its all go, the devs are driving storylines for now, the governing body in sanna will retain power, of course if that changes it means the devs have enabled system change and things elsewhere should move
Id come out to mikunn and help the dukes take over HR, its a smaller system easier to influence and theres alost 70 of us both solo and online helping out

still busy in durius
I am not sure about Sanna. Which side to support when a war breaks out? I guess I will stay out of that conflict and go bakc to care about my "home" system
I still have to convince this Game that my Actions should have influence ...

I took a trip down there. Couldn't really find anything going on, so I took a trip to Sol to try to get more Fed Navy rank. It's a quick trip once things heat up.

Heck I will fight for Sanna just to see it leave the federation, the Empire approves of Sannas independence. Might get my ass kicked though, fighting in Durius tought me the independent scum usually dont stand a chance.

Bring personal weapons to Brahe Terminal and sell them on the black market. They're selling for over 1,000 CR profit per ton.

It's only 1 or 2 jumps depending on your jump drive.
Chapsugaibo should sell some, and other High Tech empire economies nearby (Yawa, AFLI)

There's no guarantee these will fall into rebel hands, destabilize the two federal factions, or help pave the way for an empire takeover, but the money is nice.

Update:
I delivered ~1.5 million worth of personal weapons to Brahe Terminal today. When I began, I didn't see any missions for Official Sanna League (The faction that is rebelling). I'm now seeing missions there for the Official Sanna League. I did one for "find 1 black box" but it took me an hour, so I didn't take the next one.

I saw 5 players today, said hi to four of them. One claimed to be a Fed and was trying to do bounties / hunt at the Nav Beacon.
Another claimed to be empire.

I showed up hoping to find some conflict sites. Checked every single planet, nothing. Then left. When the conflict sites show up, I'll be back to help the empire liberate the oppressed federation system.

I actually use Sanna as my home base and have for awhile. Use Zelano and Chapsugaibo for all your outfitting needs; the latter is especially well stocked.

No conflicts have broken out yet but player traffic has exponentially increased. I expect to see action soon.

Thanks for the tip! Anyone know where I can buy an Adder nearby? So far I've only found Sidewinders, eagles and haulers although I've not ventured far.

I think it might be too late for Sanna. Official Sanna League is still at 0%, and I didn't see any missions for them this morning. The independent station I was selling massive amounts of weapons to has dropped in influence from 7% on friday to 1% on sunday morning.

I've stashed my Type 6 and I'm heading to Dulos to interdict and kill any federal aligned ships. I've racked up a bounty already, but on the plus side, I got promoted to Serf in the empire. The faction in Dulos actually has a chance - they're sitting at 25% influence.
