You literally can't sling a dead cat in the Pleiades without running across a Thargoid right now. GalNet will tell you where to find "ground zero". I started seeing the Threat 5 USS 100Ly out from Maia.

In the system that GalNet references, there is a persistent POI that virtually can't be missed.
