Satellite and debris around planets

There should be Satellite and debris around planets. It would make sense reastically.

Satellite shoud provide basic data when scanned.
Debris should provide basic materials.

Currently they are only located in some known location for materials.

But launching satellites will never be having purposes to store data for someone.

As part of some planets environment it will be a nice idea. They must not be only textures then but an objects one can eventually collide with.

Regarding debris... I think in the future there will not be a space junk problem) Anyway there are to much efforts for thing that really not so necessary.

But the idea of material source different from the asteroid fields - not bad at all. It could be some fields of debris in space (just like asteroid fields) or abandoned ships/stations. It could be around some planets maybe but it must not be everywhere and abundant.

Most POI in the game have scannable device.

They give stuff like differents firmware types..etc.

This kind of stuff are present in all device because they needs software to operate. This scan be scanned and recuperate.

I would think by the year 3300 we would have learnt better than to leave crap in orbit where it can cause a very bad day for someone. Any technologically advanced spacefaring race wouldn't allow it around their occupied planets....but;

Salvage missions to capture rouge satellites? Yes that could work. Missions to clear a debris field in a dangerous location yes, but not just abandoned stuff drifting aimlessly in orbit. They could even have CG's to collect scrap in orbit from an accidental collision, stuff like that. Earth has a shedload of stuff in orbit that's just junk, and even now there are groups looking at ways to clear out the geosynchronous orbit area, no doubt by 3300 there will be people who's only job is to make sure space is clear around inhabited locations. So no not realistic, but there are ways to leverage it to provide missions.

There are satellites around earthlike worlds. I think they are encoded signal sources. There are also some permanent debris contacts around some systems. Basically what you want is already in the game.

I have been posting for over a year now to increase debris fields and make them a little interesting it has kind of worked in a way there are larger fields out there and a little more debris, However FDevs do have this issue of making things very very hard to find, not unlike a few mentions Geysers, fume holes etc etc. I really wish they would stop and have a little think on what we have in game now and boosting that some what like debris fields large but thinking outside the box a little for example have a wrecked ship in there "not" just a model of a ship plonked in there but a ship that is in detail broken in half the interior visible or maybe something like part of it floating in the debris field.

All to often we ship the same wreckage which breaks immersion. Another example how many of us have see the aftermath of thargoid attacks look at the ship there just whole ships with a splash of thargoid gloop on them no visible damage what so ever come on make fdevs make things look different we get bored of seeing the same things or things we want to find or discover too difficult.

Hopefully we the updates coming in beyond consideration will be given to these details after all these are not difficult things to do they are not super complicated to resolve and would bring back some immersion of the game.
