Also some sass would be cool eg. Land hard enough to incur damage and instead of "hull damage" you get " real smooth" or "ouch" "taking fire" could get randomly replaced with "they're not happy" a bit of flavour would break up the grind a bit

Well I mean you're not asking for "hot french maid" like someone else did so you're already doing better than literally every other suggestion thread ever.
I would buy the sassy covas "wow good job" randomly when I overshoot the pad getting told "it's cheaper at xyz when you fill the hold with a commodity that was cheaper at the last station visited
