Saud Kruger Cabin Quality Bonus

It seems like several attempts to encourage specializing of Saud Kruger ships as passenger ships have had lukewarm reception at best. I think it is mostly because these have been restrictive. My idea would be to use carrot rather than stick. Simply bump up the effective quality level of the cabins one level when installed on these ships. Economy becomes business, business first and first luxury (which might be only achievable by this way if you want to restrict that.) The explanation is easy to come up with. Those ships have so great common areas and views that it doesn't matter so much that the "cabins" are just coffins you sleep in.

The Imperial Cutter is so glorious that it might also deserve this bonus, but that's not here or there.

I appreciate your thinking here but you must remember that the 20m credit jaunt to wherever (500-1000 lys) to see a water spout only lasts for a lunchtime, then they're back to work for the afternoon... what a holiday!

Perhaps a bonus could be that the passenger stops whinging and asking for stupid unreasonable junk!

Yeah, the passenger missions themselves are a slightly different conversation, but perhaps having a cabin that exceeds their specifications could make them more content and make them much less likely to demand things. Luxury cabins might even make them pay a bonus sometimes.
