Save Game Gone

Hi

just updated the game to 1.12 and now my save is gone and it only gives me an option to start again but with a load of credits, anyone else have this issue or am i missing something?

Could you do a full restart of your game on the PS4 for me? Let me know if the issue persists.

I've closed the game twice now and restarted and still showing the same thing as if there is no save game

Just started after downloading the update and all good here. You say it isn't showing your save but you can restart with your previous Cr balance? ? Sounds like a corrupted save file. Hope you get it sorted.

You can restore your save game from the PS cloud by doing Upload/Download save data on the options menu for the game

There is an option to do this? I always thought the save was stored on the servers at Frontier, not locally?

Edit: just checked this is not possible in the options as I guessed. The only option is to clear the save.

Yep, not possible for games where the save files are stored on the devs servers (e.g. Elite, Destiny...). But for many other games its a very handy option (e.g. when you play at a friends place and want to carry over your progress over to your console at home).
