SAVE LOCKED - Impossible to play AGAIN

I was exploring. Then my game crash.

Now impossible to PLAY.

I can launch the game, do a training but if i try to clic on PLAY : i see the loading screen and instantly CRASHED my game.

Need HELP.

Clear file done, check file done, resintall done.
Enable/Disable TrackIR done, Mumble Done, with without X52 Pro done.

[h=2]Support Ticket Opened [#00000027745]‏[/h]I can play tuto but not with my save ? What should i do ? Wait server reboot ? Left that game ???? Ticket created.​

You need to raise a ticket... if you reference the ticket ID back here it may get a faster response...

The forums are for communicating with other players. The devs will stop in to comment here and there when it is relevant, but this is not where you get technical support.

If you've already placed a ticket, all you can do is wait for the response. Now that they've purged the queue they seem to have improved their response times.

As long as you raised your ticket under "unable to play" they usually get to those fairly quickly. Might have to wait for Monday though.

Yeah, weekends are not working days in the UK.

You will need to wait until at least monday... but the chances of hearing a response then is pretty minimal, as they are dealing with a ton of tickets.

Just be patient, someone will get back to you.
Bumping this thread saying you still can't access won't get your ticket looked into quicker.

There is a good chance you can fix this yourself. Try this:

Load up the game to the main menu. Alt tab. Open task manager and go into processes, right click the game's .exe file and click Set Affinity, uncheck everything in there except CPU0. Then go back into game and try load the save. If it works or not, don't forget to go back and re-enable the cores for the .exe file.

I tried it already no better luck. Thanks anyway mate !


Same ISSUE, new ticket ...
Reinstalled TWICE, try with/without Antivirus, Clear Firewall, check UPnP routing activated/disabled still same LOCK. Files Checked, I can play tutorial but cannot load my SAVE.

I can see friend Online INGAME et see their position INGAME in the friend list. Network Work. But my save is corrupted. grmbl....

I had the exact same problem and posted a ticket on the 27th

It was closed with no response on the 30th, no reason given

I posted again on the 30th, with a title "save corrupted, please roll back save "

11 days went by, no response

I closed it after 13 days and cleared my save

Wouldnt count on getting a response at all

I'd be surprised if they restore your character. I had 6 weeks gameplay wiped out including all that I'd done in gamma. All got corrupted. The only thing FD could salvage where my credits and rank. All stats and rep had to be reset to zero.

They paid me 6 million in compensation but I would have rather have had the 4000 systems worth of exploration data I'd amassed and the good relations I'd built up with the independent faction.

Sadly they couldn't save it and by the sounds of it there in no character back up. They knew the date and time my character got corrupted but still never offered to restore him to his state just prior to that timestamp.

Not saying the same will happen to you but don't get your hopes up on a full restore.

Maybe clearing your save and petitioning for compensation may be something to think about?

man that really sucks :( Sorry to hear about that and the OP :(

I can only imagine how much time went into finding those 4000 systems worth of exploration! Dang! I hope that doesn't happen to me, I'd flip out!

Hope you guys get the wrongs righted!

In my case :

Total balance asset near 90M. Almost finished my clipper (52m value). A 23M ASP value, rest in cash.
Earl in Empire. Master/Broker/Pathfinder. All permits for capital (sol achenar alioth).

They HAVE to fix that for concerned people.

They HAVE to prevent it.

I ll explore no more if they vive me back my save until they fix it.
And moreover i paid for a game i cannot play with NOW. Unacceptable
