Save my key Bindings!

I move my computer around, but alas cannot use my controller at work. I have my bindings saved in custom. When I switch to mouse and keyboard I do not change any bindings. When I switch back to custom, all my bindings are erased!

Can you add a multiple save configuration?

Ive had and still do have the same problem when changing to use a pad for the srv, was also useing the pad for the new camera system but not used it since it came out due to the above problem.

I even tried backing up the file and rewritting it after the last time it happend, if I rem right that did the trick, or it did most of it, still think there were a few that needed remapping, thankfully only play on M/KB so wasnt as many as some who might play with JS/Throttle..

+one from me on the need for more than one savable bindings thingie...

yes agreed they need to look into this. I would like to use my Steam link to play the game in the lounge occasionally, and would like to switch to a second binding to use the controller. I already use a HOTAS and controller in the other room and switching makes the game lose all bindings.

I even tried using the steam version for the controller and the launcher version for the HOTAS but that doesn't seem to work.

unless this is all just user error on my part. it is pretty complicated.

It isn't perfect (by any means) but manually editing the bindings file name and the description in line 2 of the file saves all that hassle. The name in line 2 is what shows in the drop-down list in options / controls so you can have as many variations as you want (I have three basically - exploration and trading plus a pew-pew one with a different joystick).

F D really need to have a "save as" function in the options / controls menu page, it is disgraceful that there isn't one already.
