Not on its own it isn't. Replace the economic system that leads to their creation with something more rational, and you might be getting somewhere...

But that's the attitude that guarantees nothing will change. Maybe that's part of the plan. In the past it was hard to see how insignificant a single person could be, people would rise up even if they thought they didn't have a shot. Maybe they were deluded but it happened, there were revolutions. Now, corporations drill the fact that they're all powerful into everyone's head through all forms of media. They've got us cowed.
