Saved game on new computer

The current computer I play Elite on is in for repair and hopefully the same problem doesn't reoccur once I get it back. That aside I want to buy a gaming PC and was wondering will my saved game transfer over to a new computer, is it stored server side ?

Yep, you could log onto your account from any computer with elite installed and pick up from your save, I often swap from computer to computer. The only thing you will lose/need to back up is your key bindings and any graphics config changes you might of made, like HUD customization s.
