General / Off-Topic Say hello to Ophelia ! [Hurricane]

When was the last time Ireland had to deal with a FRIKING HURRICANE ! ?

Today Ophelia was upgraded to cat 3/5 and is approaching the Azores, it should reach Ireland on Monday, very weakened and most probable downgraded to a storm.

But with winds up to 120km/h it will still be serious business.

But with the Irish proverbial luck, you never know.

Better stock up on Guinness boys, just in case.

Ophelia already claimed 3 souls.

Though it is now a post tropical storm, its winds of 130km/h forced the Irish government to close the schools for Monday and Tuesday.

My thoughts go to the people of Ireland tonight.

I`m pretty close to the Ophelia, lucky not on its trajectory - I hope you guys in more north part of EU, GB, Ireland holds up ok.
