SBS mode disables head tracking

It used to be (December 2015) that I could enable SBS mode in the graphics options and my head tracking would work as normal.
However, it appears that enabling SBS now stops mouse look and head tracking via joystick (EdTracker) from working entirely.

Has anyone else encountered the same? Bug or intended feature?

Hey there,

I just encountered this issues yesterday and still am having them. Same as you using SBS 3D mode and I play with a keyboard + mouse and no more mouse look...

Hope this can be resolved soon.. the game is unplayable to me in this state.

Have you tried restarting the game after enabling it? asking because when I was testing trinusvr I had to reboot after to get tracking to work right, despite it having working before 3d was enabled.

I'm not using any special form of tracking. Just keyboard and mouse setup. I would press mouse button 3 to activate/deactivate mouse look. Now it doesn't work...

Indeed, I have tried all the usual "turn it off and back on again" tricks. In fact, without restarting the game and by changing the 3D option, headtracking can be enabled and disabled so it seems more like the function is being killed with the 3D option. Do you currently have this working with the Horizons 64 bit client?

THe mouse option in the graphics section is grayed out when 3D is enabled... I can't believe they took out this function... It was great to be able to toggle mouse look on and off with mouse button 3.... now in 3D this is impossible :(
