I've made it as far as Saturn but then I gave up. But I love things like this.
On a related matter: I think FDev should cut out the GalMap and sell it to schools. I never came across anything that translates the vastness of our Galaxy as well as the Galmap does. Sometimes I'm just parked in a station and spend an hour just looking around the Galmap.

Phew! It's a good thing I have a ridiculously inflated sense of self-importance, or this sort of thing would really make me think.

EDIT: Ooh this'll be fun - everyone list the 2000 movies they'd watch on the way to Mars. OP - you go first.

That's cool and all, but I play this game that is set in 1:1 scale model of the galaxy and I can tell you that making the trip in a space ship is a lot cooler than dragging a slider :)
