Scan by the Thargoids at the Alien Base [SPOILERS]

Apologies if this has been posted numerous times but I was super excited. Not sure if this is normal or not (not watched the video/spoilers throughout yet) but I was visited by the Thargoids while at the base on 14049

Visited 14909

Did the 3x objectives in the following order:

Probe, Link then UA

got the beautiful site:

Then upon coming outside the base back to my ship I was 'visited' for the first time ever. Lost power etc.

It was like the hyperdiction videos, it did a scan of me (fappin awesome!) then flew away. I've got 3 audio messages which all appear to be the same.

Yeah it had a red/magenta hue around the centre, the scan was green/orange (mashed the wrong screenshot key though -doh!). It seemed to 'growl' more than what I have seen in the hyperdiction videos too. Certainly seemed more aggressive but again, it could be because I was experiencing it rather than just watching it.

One more thing before I sign off. I scanned all 3 links and the other wallflowers prior to activating the machine. Not sure if it's relevant or not.

I was taken totally by surprise as I'd not heard about any 'visitations' here. Were you carrying any objects from the machine at the time?

Maybe. Strange that some people are scanned and others not. Hopefully its all part of the puzzle and requires some sort of trigger rather than a RNG event.

Ah so its the same and not different. Guess they haven't got their own skins available to purchase yet then :p.
