I am not a programmer, and I have not seen a tool that actually has this functionality, but on the surface, I can't see this as being too difficult to do given some of the amazing and complex tools we already have, so here goes...
I would like a tools that simply scours the log files and keeps, and displays a tally of the various stellar bodies one has scanned...for instance...
O type stars - 2
B type stars - 37
Neutron Stars - 44
HMC planets - 2043
HMC planets Terraforming Candidate - 103
Rocky planets - 152
Water World - 86
Water World Terraforming Candidate - 52
Earth Like World - 14
The above obviously isn't all inclusive, but you get the idea. Also, to perhaps make it a bit more robust, have it multi-tier sortable so one could have a count of all terraformables, regardless of body type...
Again, I am not a programmer, so I am not sure how difficult something like this would be to make.
